The Westlab brand was created by two childhood friends, Scott Livingston and Penny Hamilton.One of the original pioneers of natural wellbeing products, Penny was flying the flag for chemical free skincare in the early 2000s, a time when this subject was rarely spoken of or understood. Having begun her career in Beauty and Spas, and specialising in sensitive skin, Penny had started to research the unnecessary chemicals used in beauty products and their potentially detrimental effects. It soon became Penny’s mission to spread the word of the benefits of more natural products and she opened one of the UK’s first day spas that supported only brands that were free from harsh chemicals.
